SACYN (South Asian Christian Youth Network) is an international trans-denominational youth movement that brings together youth leaders from across South Asia to engage with questions, concerns, and hopes emerging from their own contexts. SACYN creates spaces where youth voices are taken seriously and faith is explored honestly.
In October 2025, the annual SACYN training module was shaped around the theme From Generation to Generation: Called to Lead inviting nearly 40 delegates from 14 different countries (including Southeast Asia for the first time) to reflect on the blessings and challenges of intergenerational leadership.
What unfolded in Chiang Mai, Thailand, was nothing short of remarkable. In the months leading up to the module, there were genuine uncertainties — questions around visas, travel logistics, overlapping commitments, and funding weighed heavily on the planning team. Yet, as preparations continued prayerfully and persistently, each obstacle gave way. Time and again, the team witnessed God’s faithfulness — transforming anxiety into gratitude as representatives from 14 countries finally gathered in one place.
Each delegate brought their unique stories, responsibilities, burdens and questions, and found space to breathe, listen and be reminded that they do not walk alone.

What stood out most, however, was the sense of community God formed among the group. Over shared meals, in prayer, and in quiet conversations, trust grew. Stories were shared. Tears and laughter were held together. Many spoke of friendships forming across cultures and denominations — friendships they believe God will continue to use beyond their time in Thailand.

SACYN 2025 stands as a testimony to what can happen when space is made for God to lead — when plans are held with open hands, and when people choose to walk together in faith. The fruit of this gathering is still unfolding, carried forward in lives, relationships, and communities shaped by hope, trust and renewed calling.
